Alex Duran
Alex Duran is the Portfolio Manager and a co-founding partner of Permian Investment Partners. Permian launched in August 2008 and focuses on investing behind new, best-in-class, highly incentivized CEOs turning around mismanaged businesses, predominately in Western Europe. Prior to co-founding Permian, Alex worked at Brahman Capital as an Investment Analyst from Fall 2005 until founding Permian. Prior to joining Brahman, Alex was an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs. He graduated with Highest Honors from The University of Texas at Austin where he earned a BBA in both Honors Business and Finance.
